Vueling have announced that they will launch flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Copenhagen from May 2016.
Vueling Takes on Competitive Paris to Copenhagen Route
The route is already serviced by SAS, Air France and easyJet, while Norwegian fly between Paris Orly and Copenhagen. The increased competition on the route between Copenhagen and Paris comes as Copenhagen is increasingly becoming a desirable tourist destination for the French. The Spanish carrier currently operates flights to Barcelona, Alicante, Malaga and Firenze from Copenhagen.
Vueling will operate 4 direct flights between Paris and Copenhagen per week from the 5th of May, 2016. The airline will be using a 180-seat Airbus A320 to service the route. One way fares start from €24.99.
The airline was previously seen as a no-frills low cost carrier, however Vueling have recently re-branded to better cater to business travellers. The airline is part of the IAG group, which also operates British Airways and Iberia. Its main hub is Barcelona, but as shown by the recent expansion to Copenhagen, the airline is expanding its reach beyond Spanish speaking territories.
The flights are now available to book on the Vueling website.
